PETERSEN MEDIA: Though Friday night’s event was rained out, Saturday’s All Star Circuit of Champions event at Sharon Speedway was all systems go and Parker Price-Miller and Destiny Motorsports had a very strong showing that culminated with PPM finishing fourth.

Timing the MonDak Portables/Ft. Union Supply and Trading/Townline Variety backed No. 4 machine in 23rd fastest overall in time trials, PPM would end up third quickest in his time trial group.

Lining up on the front row of his heat race, PPM would need to run inside the Top-Two to move into the Dash. Making a mistake, Price-Miller would fall back to finish third which would be good enough to transfer him into the feature event, though he would have his hands full coming from the 14th starting position.

When the race came to life, Parker Price-Miller would go to the top shelf and would be one of the few up there and he would make it work very well. Picking off cars left and right, Price-Miller would burst into the top-five as he looked to become a factor for the win late in the race.

An untimely red flag would allow crews to let their drivers know Price-Miller’s line, and when the action resumed the front runners joined PPM up top and things became a little more difficult for the Kokomo, IN driver.

Racing his way into fourth, Price-Miller would cap his night with an impressive run from 14th to fourth as he now sits third in the series standings heading into an off week with the series.

“I messed up in the heat race, but my guys gave me an awesome racecar in the feature and I thought we might make it interesting at the end,” Price-Miller said. “Unfortunately a late red opened the opportunity for crew guys to let their drivers where to go and they all moved up too and made it tough at the end. These guys keep working hard and we have a really good car right now and I am looking forward to this weekend.”
